Gabrovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in 1991. It is one of the nationally represented employers’ organizations. A service complex centre for companies in the region of Gabrovo.
Since its establishment it has about 200 companies as full members and more than 100 associated members.
Gabrovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s members are from all area of the economy in the region and represent more than 60% of the net revenues from the sales in the region.
The main objective of the Chamber is to represent and defend the common interests of its members before local authorities and through Bulgarian chamber of commerce and industry - before central authorities, other local, foreign and international organizations, the Chamber maintains partner relationships with directly or through Bulgarian chamber of commerce and industry.
The Chamber assists their members in optimizing the business environment both nationally and regionally, as well as in raising their opportunities to be successful on the national and international markets.
As an employers’ organization the Chamber works for regional growth, takes part in state and public, consultative and other authorities, bodies and organizations in the region, as well as in the work of regional and local authorities for trilateral cooperation.
The Chamber itself initiates the establishment of regional advisory councils.
